It comes as a surprise to no one that the farmer begins preparing for the harvest in springtime. The fields are prepared to receive the seed – the care and diligence taken in the preparation of the field contributes in large part to the quality of the harvest.
In the same way the Reformation was God’s way of preparing for the harvest in the last day – to those Christians living in the Dark Ages the Reformation was the harvest!
